Experiential Education at Wasatch Academy encompasses a broad variety of learning activities, including outdoor education, service learning, volunteerism, world travel, and cross-cultural collaboration.

This educational approach begins in the classroom with project based learning, expands to the community, outdoors, and the world at large through purposeful experiences that are supported by a process of reflection and synthesis.

These experiences help build on our mission to prepare young people for life in the 21st century. The Experiential Education program provides them with opportunities to develop skills in critical thinking, collaboration, leadership, adaptability, taking initiative, communication, and increasing curiosity and imagination through hands on learning initiatives.
