Here at Wasatch the primary mission of our International Program is to help our students become global citizens.
-
We provide a variety of international opportunities for our students to experience the world through adventure, service, language immersion, cultural sharing, and exploring. We seek to increase our students' perspective of the world and their place in it as well as teaching them a deep appreciation of the diverse cultures and traditions of our fellow human beings. All of these experiences are intended to enrich and enliven the classroom experiences that are at the core of a Wasatch education.
Wasatch offers a uniquely diverse student body with students from over 30 different countries living and learning together. On campus International Clubs give all students an opportunity to learn about other cultures and share their own. In addition, the school offers a number of international travel opportunities during the various breaks. These trips are designed to expand students understanding of different peoples, increase ability to communicate across cultural differences, and increase altruism and for the problems other's face. Recent trips have included service trips to India, Costa Rica, France, and this coming year Vietnam.
