Once again, the Utah Heritage Foundation has recognized Wasatch Academy for its ongoing preservation of historic buildings. This year, the foundation will honor the school with a Heritage Award for Adaptive Use for its renovation work on the new Music Conservatory, formerly the First Presbyterian Church. Wasatch Academy is one of 12 statewide honorees this year.
In the past two years, Wasatch Academy has received two Utah Heritage Foundation Awards; in 2015 for the restoration of the Studio Arts Building and in 2014 for the restoration of Liberal Hall, the original WAschoolhouse and the oldest in the state. Liberal Hall is now the Wasatch Academy campus museum.
