Wasatch Academy is happy to share with you the recent news coverage regarding our student, Sonita Alizadeh.
Sonita is an Afghan girl whose story is receiving increased attention around the world. As an artist and activist, Sonita is using rap music to increase awareness of issues such as forced marriage, child labor, and voting rights.
Through our relationship with the Strongheart Foundation, Wasatch Academy brought Sonita to our campus to help this phenomenal young lady further develop her individual strengths as she attempts to share her message with the world.
