Lusia Olsen is the Head Dorm Parent for Alice Dorm at Wasatch Academy, where she is dedicated to creating a safe, supportive, and enriching residential environment for students.
Originally from Fiji, Lusia moved to Utah in 2016 after meeting her husband during his LDS mission. Having spent much of her own high school years in a boarding school from 9th through 11th grade, she brings valuable firsthand understanding of the unique challenges and opportunities of residential living—experience that shapes her compassionate and student-centered approach.
Lusia began her career at Wasatch Academy in 2017 in the kitchen department. In 2020, she stepped away to raise her first child and help her husband grow their family business. She returned in 2023 as a Relief Dorm Parent and quickly demonstrated her leadership, dedication, and ability to connect with students from diverse backgrounds.
She is currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Family and Human Services, further strengthening her knowledge and skills to better serve the students under her care. Outside of her professional role, Lusia enjoys spending time with her family. She also enjoys playing volleyball, pickleball, and board games.
