Serenity is a bi-coastal gal: she spent her early childhood next to the Chesapeake Bay in Woodbridge, VA, and her teen years in the picturesque Pacific Northwest town of Coos Bay, Oregon.

She graduated from high school a year early and left home at the age of 16. Then, she moved to Utah for school and has been here ever since. While she has grown to love the mountains, she misses the ocean and visits as often as she can. Serenity is an avid reader and traveler and enjoys homesteading on her 2.5-acre mountain property with her family.

She has recently become involved with local politics because of a desire to improve her community. She hopes that her love of learning and her curiosity about the world will provide a model for her students to become contributing citizens of the world.
