Summer Xiaoli Li was born and raised in Henan China and joined the faculty at Wasatch Academy in 2019. Before coming to Wasatch Academy, Summer attended North China University of Water Resources and Electric Power in 2013 and she received her International Chinese Teacher's License from Beijing Normal University in 2017. Summer received her master's degree at Weber State University in 2023. She worked in China and Thailand as a language teacher for three years before joining Wasatch.
Summer specializes in working with English Language Learners and students of all ages. She is good at creating a diverse and safe environment for students from all over the world. When she is out of the classroom, Summer enjoys cooking, traveling, animals, and snowboarding with family.
